PROTECH's Promoters
Protech Engineering Resources (PROTECH) was formed in 2018 by bringing two companies one after another under one umbrella – first acquiring Protech Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (PCPL), Tamil Nadu, India, in 2018; and then later acquiring AQC Environmental Engineers (AQC), California, USA, in 2021 – both of which were originally founded separately in the mid 1980’s and were well reputed companies until acquired – and are now being operated as two separate divisions of PROTECH.
PROTECH has extensive experience in providing Engineering Services (Basic/Detailed Engineering and Turnkey Projects) for Chemical Process Industries, Manufacturing Industries, Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Mining, and Transport Sectors. Further, PROTECH provides Environmental/ EHS Services including Air Quality, Water Quality, Hazardous Waste, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, CEQA, Environmental Site Assessments, Site Remediation, and EHS support.
PROTECH’s team consists of highly experienced professionals who specialize in a multitude of fields – Engineering and Sciences (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, and Civil Engineering), Industrial Hygiene Professionals (Occupational Health and Chemistry) – and Project Managers highly experienced in Planning and Execution of Turnkey Projects with hundred percent success rate in commissioning, testing, and delivering all projects. Technology upgradation, troubleshooting, operational and compliance support for achieving has been possible only through our team’s high level of technical knowledge and industrial experience, which has been of great value to PROTECH and the customer base we serve.

Late Sri. C.P. Saranathan
Late Sri. C.P. Saranathan, Founder-Director of PCPL, was a Chemical Engineer with over four decades of experience in Chemical industries. He had extensive experience in Chlor-Alkali industries involving all types of electrolytic processes and was in charge of setting up and operating large scale manufacturing plants for Chlor-Alkali, Chlorinated Solvents, Poly Vinyl Chloride and captive salt works. He also had a vast amount experience in the design and development of processes for specialty chemicals and inorganic & organic chlorinated compounds. In addition to his leadership and client reputation for his excellent design skills, he brought all his experience and knowledge base of “comprehensive know how of setting up chemical industries” to PCPL and served its clients for the rest of his life building excellent chemical industries, especially Chlor-Alkali plants and earned a great reputation for PCPL as well as the plants he built for various clients have formed a solid foundation for PCPL in keeping it on the top list of Chlor-Alkali engineering companies in India and some Asian and Middle East countries as well.
Late Sri. P.N. Srinivasan
Late Sri. P.N. Srinivasan, Founder-Director of PCPL, was a Chemical Engineer with over four decades of experience in Chemical Process Industries. He worked with M/s DCW Ltd, a leading manufacturer of Caustic/Chlorine, Trichlorethylene and other chemicals, down from the project implementation stage up to the plant management, and further he also had wide range of experience in Projects Execution, Installation, and Commissioning, all of which formed the founding experience when he joined PCPL and served its clients all his life that earned a great reputation for excellent engineering services that have been keeping PCPL at the top of the list of Engineering Services Companies in India and some Asian and Middle countries as well.
Mr. R. Narasimhan, Director
Mr. R. Narasimhan, Founder-Director of PCPL, is a Chemical Engineer with over four decades of Industrial experience. He worked with M/s. DCW Limited, in their Caustic Chlorine Plant at Sahupuram, Tamil Nadu where he gained operating experience in Caustic/Chlorine and related plants. He later joined M/s. Mico Farms Chemicals Ltd., which was manufacturing technical grade pesticides and formulations, implemented the Project and served them for a couple of decades. He brough all his wide range of Chemical Industry knowledge to PCPL and has been serving its clients to support making PROTECH as the preferred Engineering Services Company of Chemical Industries in Asia and Middle East.
Dr. N. Rangaprasad, Director
Dr. N. Rangaprasad, Founder-Director of PCPL, is a Chemical Engineer with a Post Graduate Degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahama, USA, with over four decades of experience in Plant & Process Design and Supervision of Erection and Commissioning of several medium and large scale chemical process plants. He worked with Uhde GmbH for about 7 years before founding PCPL. He has been a core designer and a great team member with strong leadership in providing Engineering Services. In addition, he also has earned reputation in Chemical Industry for his specialized skills in developing engineering concepts for various projects based on project-specific conditions. He is currently leading PCPL’s operations and keeping PCPL’s reputation on the top of Chemical Industrial Engineering companies list as the best-in-class technology and engineering services provider.
